Carrera Sunglasses

Posted on 6:42 PM by Metropolitan

The warm breezes of spring are rapidly approaching us, and we ask you the question, is your swagger in check? Nothing adds a stylish jolt to an outfit like a hot pair of sunglasses. Carrera was founded in Austria in the year 1956, but is now owned by Safilo Group S.p.A. of Padova, Italy. Initially manufacturing only sports eyewear, the company now produces a wide range of helmets and goggles as well.

Vampire killer Taylor Lautner from the recent film New Moon is a fan of Carrera.

Notice how Taylor's shades help give him that sporty look when paired with a crisp white t-shirt. The lenses on these glasses are manufactured of a special acetate material that helps to cut glare.

Songstress Alicia Keys has often been sighted wearing Carrera.

Actor Brad Pitt during the Cannes Film Festival.

So the general take home message is that if you chose to give Carrera a try this spring/summer keep it casual. Your outfit should be composed of simple subdued colours so that the sunglasses can take the stage. To find out more about Carrera visit their website, or if you would like to purchase them at discount go to Amazon. Please comment and let us know your opinion about Carrera, or if you are too shy to do so, take part in our easy poll!
